The Confidence Issue Part 3 : What does God say about me?

Ever felt like you were lacking confidence? Well I have felt like that several times. Growing up it wasn’t easy being a kid. I never felt loved, or pretty. I always felt like I had to do something to be loved. I had such low self esteem. I constantly battled with the thoughts ” am I pretty enough?” “are my clothes cool enough?”  “Will the guys like me?”. All these questions I had floating through my mind. Pretty normal for a child right? Yes and no. What was the cause of these questions? I felt often like I wasn’t fit to be certain people friend because of how I look. I want to show you in this blog how to Love the skin your in.

Have you read The Confidence Issue Part 1 and 2? If not check them out Here:

Part 1: Loving the Skin your in

Part 2: He is my Self Worth

What is true beauty?

True beauty is from the inside, it’s not based on outward appearance. Ok well you are probably thinking “Aldo, really then why is it that guys always want the pretty girls?” or, “why have people called me ugly”…. Well that’s according to the world standards and yes we do live in the world.  Especially the USA where beauty is everything, there are even shows dedicated to giving “Ugly Betty’s” and “Plain Jane’s” makeovers so they can be more attractive. But what is so great about being so beautiful on the outside, but on the inside you STINK!

Proverbs 31:30 Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeing; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

To God that person could have gotten the best makeover and guys could have been voting her as “the world’s most prettiest girl”  and for someone else they could have counted them out from the beginning , but if she fears the Lord then God see’s her as someone who should be praised. Outside appearance doesn’t count!

Now fearing the Lord doesn’t mean , being afraid of God, but it simply means you have a holy reverence for Him. That we respect and have adoration for Him. That we live such a life that doesn’t displease God.

1 Samuel 16:7 “But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

Matthew 23:28 In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.

So does this mean, I shouldn’t care about my appearance?

No , please care about your appearance. My pastor always jokes and says “nothing is wrong with a little paint on the barn”!

Take care of your outward appearance, but don’t forget about your inside ,Your spirit man and obtaining the fruit if the Spirit. Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Faithful, Goodness, Gentleness, Self control, and Kindness.

How do I become Beautiful?

Again beauty isn’t about your outward appearance, it’s more based on your inside that matter to God.

1 Timothy 4:8 “Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.”

  • Reading your word: reading your word build your faith and reminds you of what God says about you. It also is a way to know all the promise God has for you. Reading your word encourages you in times of testing and so much more. I love reading my word God reveals so much to me in my reading time.

Psalms 1:2 But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night.

Joshua 1:8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

  • Praying: praying is your communication with God, God can speaks to you during times of prayer. Prayer prepares you for the day for test and trials or any obstacle. Prayer can transform you. Honestly, when I pray I feel so much better I leave my prayer closet feeling new. I also feel and look prettier( idk maybe that’s just me)

1 Thessalonians  5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Ephesians 6:8 “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people”

  • Attending church regular:  Attending church is important. You need the encouragement from other believes and it allows you a chance to grow in God. Its so important to be in a church where the true Gospel is preached!

Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”

Naturally all you can do is believe that you are beautiful and walk with confidence, dressing nice, smelling nice, and doing your hair helps as well.

What does God say about?

God spent time creating you, making every little detail about you. God made you exactly the way He wanted you to be. He says your beautiful and awesome. He says you are worth everything to Him. You are worth so much to God that he sent His one and only Son from the glory and splendor of HEAVEN! To die for your sins, and so you won’t have to suffer with low self esteem, not feeling pretty enough, depression, and healing. Today and Forever God says you are worth everything, you are beautiful!

Psalms 139 13-16 “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.  My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.”

Hygiene Routine! The Embarassing stuff!

This post is for ladies of all ages especially younger ladies!

I about to get real with yall for a second!  Are you ready?

I was so inspired to write this post, one day while mentoring I had so many young ladies with so many questions so hopefully I could address all of those question in this post! If you have anymore question feel free to ask me below or if its a bit personal email me at

I remember when I got to that age! You know that age where you found something in your panties and was like What the Heck! Omgsh! Is it happening???  I remember when I first found about that us ladies have a menstrual. It was 5th grade I believe, and I was so ready for it to come. I remember having all these little booklets on it, that I got from school. I use to read them like everyday. I remember in the 7th grade I went to the restroom after lunch and Viola! she was there. I wasn’t sure it was really it or I was just disgusting! The 1st though that came to my mind was eww your disgusting! LOL I honestly thought it was poop, because it was spotty and not heavy! So I tried to clean up and went to class. So I went home and I was watching “The Hughley’s” were there daughter got her first period. Then I thought to myself “NO WAY!!” I ran up the steps to my room and pulled out the booklets went to the restroom and was like. “OMGSH” so I sneaked to my mom’s room took a pad from her and followed the steps and I was so Happy!

Hygiene is so important for women. As a lady we are to be beautiful and gorgeous all day!! Well at least people expect for ladies to be well taken care of and us as ladies should always want to be that way. No need to by fancy expense stuff to take care of yourself the simple such works just as well. But I do have things I prefer over others. Also, as women we have some special areas to consider for personal hygiene. Those who are of reproductive age have a monthly menstrual cycle, which requires more attention to cleanliness. Protection must be changed several times a day, and showering or bathing become even more important for cleanliness and odor control. Let’s go!!

Hygiene Routine:

  1. We must take baths/showers everyday!

Lol seriously its a must! Us as women have special areas that need that attention everyday! When its that time of month I shower twice a day!

2. Wash your face

This is something that keeps your pretty faces from breaking out. Especially if you wear makeup or do sports activities. Find a good cleanser, my favorite Is raw black soap. It keeps marks out of my face.!

3.  Brush you teeth everyday!

I can say I don’t brush twice but I do brush twice if I’m about to head out to hang out with friends or going on  a date. I do try to brush twice but most of the time I fail! Flossing is good to something else I don’t do!

4. Put on lotion

As a lady its important to have smooth, moisturize skin! I personally put on lotion every time I get out the shower. My favorite lotion is St. Ives! Find a lotion that works good for your skin!

5. Change yourself regularly

When its that time of the month  you should check down there often.  You should change your pad every 3- 4 hours or as often as needed for heavier flows. For tampons experts say don’t leave it in for over 8 hours. Me personally I don’t leave mines in for over 4. hours , or I change it as often as needed.  Also,  I don’t were  tampons at night when I’m sleep I wear a overnight pad. Let her breath down there lol!  Also I always keep a pouch on me with pads and tampons and liners in there. So I can always be prepared.  Then it a cool way to keep it hidden from everyone.

6. Wear panty liners (optional)

I like to wear them  everyday just to feel clean and fresh. Its good for catching discharge.

I hope this was a good guide for you ladies. If you have any more question or maybe a blog you would like me to do email me @ or Facebook message me

Looking straight ahead

Many of us deal with the problem of looking to the left and to the right to see what is going on. Many of times that takes us directly off the path that God wanted us to take. We get so easily distracted when we take our eyes off of God. So many things are there to distracted us, for me it has been looking at others and seeing how well they are doing and comparing myself to them. I had a huge problem, I would forget all God has told me He called me to be and looked at others and said surely God has called and chosen them, because I’m not like this,I can’t do that, or they are more qualified!

I had to seriously pray and ask God to remove that spirit of inferiority off of me. It’s still a struggle sometimes , but I know what it is and I can conquer it anytime that nasty little monster of distraction tries to stick his head up.

I writing this to encourage you! You were perfectly created by a Perfect God who made you for a purpose!

Listen to this Podcast by Martha Munizzi it really uplifted me and I know it will do the same for you!

Stand up and Stand out

Awaken early one morning to intercede on behalf the Christians around the world who are being persecuted for believing in Jesus Christ. I was prompted to write this.

“His Big Heart had replaced my tiny heart.”

Heavy in intercession God had replaced my little heart with His Heart I couldn’t contain. As I sat there praying in my closet trying not to be to loud because I didn’t want to awake my roommates, but it was hard God had place something He cared so much about into my tiny heart. I began praying. The more I prayed it was as if I felt more of God’s love for whoever he had me praying for. No words of my own but only the powerful prayer language of God. A direct conversation between me and my Father. I began to have a vision…. from then on I was prompted to write and I wrote this….

“Why do we just sit here?”

Millions of Christians around the world have to hide their faith or die. The penalty in other countries for believing in Jesus or even having a bible in possession is DEATH. Astoundingly many are not choosing to hide their faith they rather be beheaded, chop to pieces, beaten , put out of there homes and flee for there lives instead of not proclaiming Jesus is their Savior. Why such a uproar for a name who they say is dead, a name they say has no power, a name they say is only a man, or a name they same is STUPID. People are in a rage! The world is in a rage over ONE name. The name of Jesus Christ.  There is so much power in One name.

20“For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. 21“Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. 22“You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.… Matthew 10:20-22

I’m writing this to all Christians and myself, because this has so moved me to proclaim the name of Jesus to every living being! Why do we sit back and do nothing?  I don’t witnesses enough like I should, so I’m upping my witness! God has been on my heart about witnessing more. “Faithful with little ruler over much.” is His favorite thing to tell me lately. This past Sunday my Bishop gets up in church and He witnesses to someone everywhere he goes, I admire him almost 90 years old preaching the gospel of Jesus for over 70 years of his life and he says he need to witness more! Conviction filled my heart. As I knew I must Stand up and Stand out and do more! This post is in Honor of the countless Christians who are martyred for the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST! It’s time for us not to be silent anymore ,but tell more people about the saving Power of Jesus! He is our healing, Savior, Strong Tower, Bread of Life, Son of God, Emmanuel, The Holy One, and the Alpha and Omega!

12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.[a] On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified”  1 Peter 4: 12-14 NKJV
